WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE This website is designed to elucidate for every interested seeker – students, researchers, scholars, whether new to Christian Science or life-long Scientists – the “clear, correct” explanation of what Christian Science is.
Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, wrote
her textbook, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,” several years
after a severe accident, from the effects of which she fully recovered entirely
through prayer. A deeply religious
woman, Mrs. Eddy was thereby impelled to study the all-power and the
all-presence of God, divine Truth, Life, and Love, and His laws of Good, which
she realized had resulted in her complete healing.
“Science and Health,” first published in 1875, is based entirely on
the wholly spiritual laws she discovered during her three years’ search of
Scripture and of the teachings and practice of Christ Jesus, our Wayshower.
This textbook exists still as the first text ever written dealing
exclusively and comprehensively with divine metaphysics:
the humble, individual study and intelligent, prayerful application of
God’s spiritual laws as they apply to all human need.
Our
website enables you to download, at no charge, additional useful materials
for your study and application of God’s laws.
These offerings, currently comprised of four additional texts, pertinent because
also dedicated to this purpose, are based entirely on the spiritual
precepts presented in full in “Science and Health with Key to the
Scriptures” and other of Mrs. Eddy’s writings. In
her own words: “A few books . . . based on this book,
are useful.” (S&H x: 9) The
four useful, full-length textbooks available on this site for your use are: (1)
CHRISTIAN SCIENCE: Its “Clear, Correct Teaching” and COMPLETE WORKS,
by Mr. Eustace, an authorized teacher and practitioner of Christian Science for many decades, was a student of Edward A. Kimball, C.S.B., the first Lecturer of Christian Science. Mrs. Eddy specifically selected Mr. Kimball for this important fledgling task. Both Mr. Kimball and Mrs. Eddy became aware of Mr. Eustace's natural proclivity for spiritual metaphysics and its successful application during his two class instructions, Primary Class and Normal Class, with Kimball, both of which were under Mrs. Eddy's direction. He was the only student Kimball and Eddy ever found who wanted to take advanced class instruction, not so he could teach Christian Science, but specifically to better understand the machinations of animal magnetism, or malicious mental malpractice – an area of study of which Mrs. Eddy once remarked, “Where all students have failed is in not knowing how to handle animal magnetism.” (OV 383) The One Volume is the complete record of Mr. Eustace’s class teaching in Christian Science plus his other articles on spiritual concepts successfully practised during his years in the public practice of Christian Science. You are invited to peruse the Table of Contents of The One Volume to gain an overview of the breadth and depth of these notes and articles. The introduction, “To The Reader,” details Mr. Eustace’s background in Christian Science in his own words. His essays and explanations about animal magnetism present clearly and correctly the breadth and depth of what he learned in those classes with Mr. Kimball and what he taught and demonstrated in his years in public practice. CORRECT CHRISTIAN SCIENCE:
We will refer to this text as the “Founding Facts” or simply the “FFs.”
The purpose of this text is to show clearly and correctly to “any
sincere seeker of Truth” (S&H x: 23 only) the Mind-provided framework
which Mary Baker Eddy as the Discoverer, Founder, and Revelator of Christian
Science acknowledges throughout her career to be the infallible, immoveable,
divine platform upon which Christian Science is Mind-founded, is Mind-revealed
to her, is Mind-practised by her, and upon which this Revelation Mind-rests for
all time.

A CLEAR, CORRECT, DIVINE MIND-TUTORED
LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN DIVINE METAPHYSICS: CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NOTE:
this offering is not a separate text as such.
It is a collection of those portions of Mary
Baker Eddy’s “clear, correct teaching of Christian Science” (My 297:
18-19) is presented comprehensively throughout all of her writings on
divine metaphysics.
A student may apply to any teacher (C.S.B.) of Christian Science to
inquire as to the forthcoming class of that teacher.
The teacher conveys the expectations and procedures deemed important as
a student’s class experience. The
student decides whether or not such class with that teacher will fulfill his
expectations. Currently,
class instruction in Christian Science is a group experience lasting two weeks,
usually in a Science church located in or near the city of the teacher’s
permanent residence.
Some individuals, however, enjoy studying in complete quietude, without
travel to another city, or when their circumstances appear to require study
alone. There are therein no time,
no personal background, no location constraints whatever.
Mind-learning individually the “clear, correct teaching of
Christian Science” presented as Mrs. Eddy’s writings as well as her
designated-successor’s The One Volume – “Christian Science:
Its ‘Clear, Correct Teaching’ and Complete Works, by Herbert W.
Eustace, C.S.B. – is available as this offering.
All Mind-directed individuals – Divine Mind-tutored – demonstrate
joyously and Scientifically Mrs. Eddy’s recognition that “The intercommunication
is always from God to His idea, man.” (S&H 284: 31-32)
